1. About Tatties
Tatties is a personal tattoo-tracking app. It runs on your device and stores your data locally there. An optional account lets you sync your collection across devices.
Tatties is free for now. Paid features or a subscription may be added later; if so, the app shows you the price first and you choose whether to take it. Founders (the first 100 accounts) keep every feature of the app free, including features that later become paid, for as long as their account exists.
Tatties is not intended for children under 16; you must be at least 16 to create an account.
2. Permitted use
You may use Tatties for your own collection, including as a tattoo artist or studio, for example to show work or discuss it with a client. You may not redistribute, resell, or reverse-engineer the app.
The optional account and cloud sync are meant for your own collection. Do not use them to store material that is unlawful or that you have no right to hold, and do not try to circumvent limits, automate uploads or otherwise put an unreasonable load on the service. Each account has a fair limit on storage and number of tattoos; the app tells you when you reach it. If an account is used in breach of these terms, we may suspend or delete it (including its cloud data), after a warning where reasonably possible. Your local collection on your device is not affected.
3. Your content
All tattoo photos and data you add remain yours. We make no claim of ownership over your content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any photos you upload.
4. Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or any damages arising from your use of the app. Aftercare tips in the app are general care guidance, not medical advice; follow the instructions of your artist or a doctor.
5. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. If you use the app from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; these terms are in addition to it.

The app uses open-source software: three.js and supabase-js (MIT licence, copyright with their authors).
