Delete your account

In short
An account in Tatties is optional. Deleting it removes your account and everything stored in the cloud. What is on your phone stays there until you remove it yourself.
In the app
- Open Tatties and go to Settings > Account & cloud sync.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
- Your account and all your cloud data are deleted straight away.
Without the app
Send an email to hello@tatties.app from the email address you use for your account, with the subject Delete my account. We delete your account within 30 days and confirm by email.
Delete some of your data, keep your account
- A tattoo: open it, tap the picture to edit it and tap Delete tattoo. It is removed from your phone and from the cloud, including its photos.
- Anonymous daily counts: turn off Share anonymous usage in Settings. Nothing more is sent.
- Feedback you sent: email hello@tatties.app and we delete it within 30 days.
- Everything on this phone: Settings > Erase all local data. Your account and cloud data stay.
What is deleted with your account
- Your account: your email address and sign-in details
- All tattoos you synced, including photos, notes, costs and sessions
- Your body: shape, age, height, weight and measurements
- Your Founder number and any rewards
What stays
- Data on your own device. Remove it with Settings > Erase all local data, or by uninstalling the app.
- Anonymous daily counts, only if you said yes to them. They are not linked to your account and are removed after at most 13 months.
- Feedback you sent from the app. It is not stored with your account; we keep it for at most 2 years, or delete it sooner if you ask.
- Our backups are fully cleared of your data within 30 days.
